PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receiver and a computer program for changing a channel number and reporting the change when the broadcasting of a specified channel number is ended. SOLUTION: In a television receiver 1 for specifying the channel number and receiving the broadcasting signals of the broadcasting to be viewed from the plurality of broadcastings, whether the broadcasting of the specified channel number is ended, is determined. Then, when the broadcasting is ended, the specified channel number is changed. A change information image 2a is then displayed on a display 2 and the changed channel number is reported.
