PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low torque rolling bearing having resistance to grease leakage, resistance to mud, and a space saving property at the same time and at low cost. SOLUTION: In an annular retainer, a tip end of a seal lip 5c of a contact seal 5 is brought into contact with an inside wall 1c of a seal groove 1a at a contact position lower than an upper end position of an outside wall 1b confronting the inside wall 1c of the seal groove 1a and, about an inner surface of each pocket of the retainer 4, a part closer to an inner diameter side than a ball array pitch circle is formed as a recessed curved surface of which diameter becomes smaller as becoming closer to an opening edge of an inner diameter side of the retainer and a recessed part extending from the opening edge of an inner diameter side of the retainer to an outer diameter side of the retainer is provided in the inner surface of each pocket.
