PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical prosthetic material for home use that improves the fear of insufficient adhesion or peeling off of its angles to or from the affected part, etc. and is also gentle on this part where it has been applied, in consideration that in chest surgery, sheet-like prosthetic materials are used in order to prevent air leakage from the operated affected part, and they conventionally vary in size and form, generally square or rectangular, by the affected part and prosthesis application conditions, but no special treatment has been given to their angles, so if used for the affected part together with fibrinous paste, etc., for example, giving problems such as that not enough paste could often be applied to the angles or much time is required in the application work. SOLUTION: The prosthetic material according to this invention is characterized in that it is made of a non-woven, in vivo decomposable absorbent sheet, at least with its angles rounded.
