Subject: folding perforated void plunger for the draining of infusions (tea, coffee, chamomile etc) in small portions of varying geometrical shapes (triangular, square, cylindrical form etc). Constitution: Two interengaged parts. The one lower part 1 holds the tea to be infused and has protuberances for its connection to the upper part destined to press down and drain the infusion. A handle 3 defining the operational sense of the plunger is set at the upper part having a spoke-like provision for the infusion compression and protuberances for its connection to the lower part. Multi-sized orifices allowing finely- or grossely-chopped infusions to exit from the interior of the void plunger are formed on the whole surface of the plunger. Advantages: complete compression and draining of the infusion with no mixing thereof with water since the plunger in question remains inalterable (not subjected to splints); better production of infusions thanks to the unhindered circulation of water inthe interior of the plunger stirring the infusion in the best way for marking the aroma and quality of this last. |
