<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a push type knob device capable of reducing the man-hour required for production preparation more than ever. <P>SOLUTION: A design knob 13 is formed as a separate body from a slide member 12. Therefore, even if the design knob 13 is newly prepared for making it relevant to a design shape of different instrument panels 31 in respective vehicle shapes, the slide member 12 provided with a rail part 12a can be also used in the respective vehicle shapes, and resetting of a metal die structure and a molding condition of the slide member 12 provided with the rail part 12a is not required. Therefore, if setting of the metal die structure and the molding condition of the slide member 12 provided with the rail part 12a is performed only once with full caution, it is not required that setting of the metal die structure and the molding condition of the slide member 12 is newly performed every time when the design knob 13 is newly prepared.
