PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device for displaying images on both sides of a light guide plate. SOLUTION: A display device 1 includes a light guide plate 2, a first light source 3, a second light source 4, a first substrate 5, a second substrate 6, and a pair of protection plates 7 and 8. A plurality of dot-like recessed parts 11 are formed on a lower surface 2b of the light guide plate 2. The recessed parts 11 have first and second reflecting faces 11a and 11b formed thereon. The first reflecting faces 11a are formed on the side of the first light source 3 and reflect light from the first light source 3 to an upper surface 2a of the light guide plate 2. The second reflecting faces 11b are formed on the side of the second light source 4 and reflect light from the second light source 4 to the lower surface 2b of the light guide plate 2. The first light source 3 is provided on one end surface 2c of the light guide plate 2, and the second light source 4 is provided on the other end surface 2d facing one end surface 2c of the light guide plate 2.
