<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain excellent sound quality of a low sound region, by generating harmonics including both even and odd ordered overtones, in a simple configuration with a small processing amount. <P>SOLUTION: A positive side half wave of an input sound signal is squared, and a negative side half wave is cubed, and the harmonics are generated by combining both. Odd and second ordered overtone components are obtained by squaring the positive side half wave, and even and first/third overtone components are obtained by cubing the negative side half wave. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
