<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for dimerizing an isocyanate (uretdione formation) using a specific phosphine as a catalyst and a method for producing a polyisocyanate having high content of the uretdione group. <P>SOLUTION: The method comprises reacting at least one organic isocyanate, a catalyst containing at least one phosphine ligand having one or two tertiary alkyl groups directly bonding to phosphorus, if needed, a solvent and, if needed, an additive. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
