The present invention relates to novel antibodies that bind specifically to human Notch 3 and their use in the detection and/or diagnosis of Notch 3 related diseases, such as cancer. The present invention also includes nuclei c acids encoding these novel antibodies, vectors and cell lines harboring th e nucleic acids, and kits comprising the antibodies for use in the detection and diagnosis.
