<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a body organ expansion instrument using a self-expansion type stent to be efficiently started at the time of traction of a stent storage cylindrical member with very little meandering and kinking of the body organ expansion instrument at the time of traction. <P>SOLUTION: The body organ expansion instrument 1 comprises a distal end tube 2, a proximal end tube 4 fixed to the proximal end of the tube 2, the stent storage cylindrical member 5 slidable toward the proximal end side, the self-expansion type stent 3 stored in the stent storage cylindrical member 5, and a traction wire 6 for moving the stent storage cylindrical member 5 toward the proximal end side. The stent storage cylindrical member 5 is moved on the outer surface of a fixed tube toward the proximal end side by the traction of the traction wire 6. The stent storage cylindrical member 5 has a hard material cylindrical proximal end member 54 fixed to the proximal end and having the inner surface to be brought into contact with the outer surface of the fixed tube 8 when moved to the proximal end side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
