PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved method for passing on information about a brassiere to the consumer. SOLUTION: The invention relates to a brassiere comprised of a front section (2), which includes two bra cups (3), and two side panels (7) encircling the upper body of the person wearing the brassiere (1), the first ends of which are attached to the front section (2), and the second ends of which can be joined together at the back of the person. Whereby each side panel (7) is comprised of an upper elastic tape (14) and a lower elastic tape (19), which are arranged between an outer textile layer (16) and an inner textile layer (17).
