A transport stream structure of image data into which additional information is inserted, and a transceiving method and a transceiving apparatus are provided to insert additional information without changing size of the transport stream structure of existing image data. A header(202) is compressed by lossless compression algorithm. An additional information field(204) includes additional information(208). The size of the compressed header is removed from the original size of the header to generate the additional information. A payload(206) includes the image data.
