PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquefaction damage alleviating structure of a pile foundation structure, which can alleviate damage of the pile foundation structure due to ground displacement when liquefaction occurs at the time of an earthquake, prevents increase of construction costs even if a liquefied layer extends to a deep location, facilitates additional construction thereof to an existing structure, and can sufficiently restrain vibration of the structure in case of an earthquake that does not cause liquefaction. SOLUTION: The liquefaction damage alleviating structure of the pile foundation structure 1 is provided for alleviating liquefaction damage of the pile foundation structure 1 which is built on the ground G consisting of a liquefied layer G1 and a non-liquefied layer G2 stacked on the same, and has an embedment section 11 embedded in the non-liquefied layer G2. According to the structure, the ground G on the periphery of the embedment section 11 has a substituted section 2 which is formed by substituting sand 20 for in-situ soil.
