摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique suitably executing a control to turn the opening of a nozzle vane to a closed side, even under a state with a possibility of decrease in axial thrust of a motor driving the nozzle vane of a variable nozzle mechanism turbocharger. <P>SOLUTION: A turbocharger driven by exhaust from an internal combustion engine, having a plurality of nozzle vanes of which the opening can be changed when driven by the motor, and changing areas of turbine nozzles formed between the nozzle vanes by the change in opening of the nozzle vanes, a control means controlling the nozzle vanes to be predetermined opening on a more closed side than a regulation opening according to an operational status of the internal combustion engine when a predetermined condition meets, and a correction means correcting the predetermined opening according to an operating condition of the motor, are provided. The predetermined opening is corrected to be on more opened side as motor terminal voltage gets lower, and the predetermined opening is corrected to be on a more opened side as a motor temperature gets higher. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p>
