<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multifunction system and multifunction equipment capable of preventing an image printed on a printed matter from being copied against an intention of a user who forms the printed matter. <P>SOLUTION: In the multifunction system constituted by connecting a printer 5 and an MFP 7, the printer 5 is equipped with a printing part 17 for printing a synthetic image obtained by synthesizing a tag concerning the output limit of the printed matter and an image based on input image information on a prescribed recording medium, and the MFP 7 is equipped with an image read part 19 for reading the synthetic image printed on the recording medium in accordance with an input read command, and a tag analysis part 23 for analyzing the tag included in the synthetic image read by the image read part 19.
