<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an escapement having efficiency improved by increasing the efficiency of a system by direct motion of an escape wheel set on a balance. <P>SOLUTION: The escapement includes the escape wheel set 1, the balance 2, a means for utilizing energy acquired with the escape wheel set in order to periodically drive the balance, a means for temporarily locking the escape wheel set after the driving of the balance, a first impulse pallet stone 3 and second impulse pallet stone 4 to be mounted on the balance, and a brake lever 5 periodically driven by the balance. The first and second impulse pallet stones directly cooperate with the teeth of the escape wheel set, and the brake lever is provided with first and second locking pallet stones arranged for cooperating with the teeth of the escape wheel set. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
