摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of correctly detecting refrigerant leakage by monitoring a temperature of an indoor heat exchanger or an outdoor heat exchanger, and judging the refrigerant leakage when temperature difference between the maximum temperature and the minimum temperature within a determination time is smaller than a prescribed temperature difference. SOLUTION: This air conditioner comprises a compressor 3 for operating a refrigerating cycle, the indoor heat exchanger 20 connected with one end of the compressor 3 and installed indoors, the outdoor heat exchanger 9 connected with the other end of the compressor 3 and installed outdoors, and a refrigerant leakage detecting portion for detecting the refrigerant leakage of the refrigerating cycle. The refrigerant leakage detecting portion determines the refrigerant leakage when the temperature differenceΔTj between the maximum temperature and the minimum temperature of the indoor heat exchanger 20 changed within the prescribed determination time t after driving the compressor 3, is smaller than the prescribed temperature differenceΔ.
