PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve assembly providing non-leakage, and equipped with a force balance system. SOLUTION: This valve assembly is used for a hydraulic device. The valve assembly has, in a valve passage, a valve sheet used by being combined with a spool. The spool has a first spool section, an elastic element is arranged in a depression of the first spool section, and the spool and, in particular, the elastic element engage with the valve sheet at a first position of the spool to achieve non-leakage from the valve passage to a tank passage. In addition, the spool has equal sealing areas at both first and second ends of the spool, and is designed to have an additional spool section at the second end in order to balance force in the valve passage.
