PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow anyone to simply and surely mount a connector plug to a coaxial cable with a normal tool without using an exclusive fastening tool while preventing the occurrence of poor mounting due to excessive force application or a lack of force application. SOLUTION: A pipe-shaped ferrule (2) is inserted between an insulator (13) and a shield (14) from the tip of a coaxial cable (11). Then, a sheath (15) is fastened by a fastening tool (4) from above the ferrule (2) so as to fix a coaxial cable connector plug (1). The fastening tool (4) is provided with a cap (5), which is externally mounted to the cable tip (11a), and a pair of pressure blades (6) respectively inserted into each slit (5a) provided in the peripheral wall of the cap so as to sandwich the sheath (15) in a direction orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the sheath. Each pressure blade (6) is formed with two fastening locking claws (9) that are locked to two slit-opening end edges (5b) on the cap inner-face side so as to fix each blade (6) in a state preventing it from being extracted and removed.
