PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a centrifuge centrifugally separating a sample at high temperature and at low cost. SOLUTION: The centrifuge is provided with a motor 13 serving as a power source; a rotor 10 rotated by the motor 13; a centrifugal chamber 8 containing the rotor 10; a refrigerator 15 cooling the rotor 10 and the sample contained in the rotor 10; an input device 23 inputting operation conditions for centrifugally separating the sample contained in the rotor 10; and a display part 21 displaying an operation state, and centrifuges the sample contained in the rotor 10 at high temperature. A preheating mode function is added for preheating by preliminary operation and informing when the centrifugal chamber 8 containing the rotor 10 and the rotor 10 reach the objective temperature by a melody and a message.
