PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a movement prevention structure of an idler gear for a reverse stage which prevents the idler gear for reverse stage from being moved by a compact structure when a transmission of a reverse stage selective sliding system, particularly, a gear manual transmission is shifted to neutral. SOLUTION: This movement prevention structure comprises: a window (part to be engaged) 12a formed in a third fork shaft head part 12 as a fork shaft head part for reverse stage; and a restriction pin 13 as an engagement part which restricts the movement of the idler gear 1 for reverse stage in the shift direction by releasably engaging with the window 12a when at least an inner lever 7 is positioned at neutral in the select direction, and is released by the inner lever 7 when the inner lever selects a third fork shaft head part 12 for reverse stage.
