This invention provides a compound represented by general formula (I) having a high level of inhibitory activity against a cholesterol ester transfer protein (CETP) wherein R¹, R², R³, R⁴, and R⁵ represent a hydrogen atom, a halo-lower alkyl group, a cyano group or the like; R⁶ represents an alkyl group, a cycloalkyl group or the like; R⁷, R⁸, R⁹, and R¹⁰ represent a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a lower alkyl group, a halo-lower alkyl group or the like; R¹¹ and R¹² represent a hydrogen atom, a lower alkyl group, a lower cycloalkyl lower alkyl group or the like; and R¹³ represents a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a lower alkoxy group or the like.
