A cooking appliance is provide to use hot wire as heat source forming a heating unit and prevent a hot wire from being damaged, with the hot wire away from a top plate. A cooking appliances(1) comprises a top plate on which a cooking container(5) is put; a base(20) forming its outer shape, put on the bottom of the top plate; at least one heating unit(30) equipped between the top plate(10) and the base; a seating guide unit(40) assembled on the bottom of the heating unit; and an elastic support(50), assembled on the seating guide part, supporting elastically the seating guide and the heating unit.
