A food information providing system and a method thereof are provided to enable a user to see food-related information in real time and to obtain various kinds of food-related information by diversifying the kinds of foods a user knows. An RF(Radio Frequency) tag module(3) is prepared in a cooker(1). The RF tag module includes an IC chip(32) in which food-related information is recorded, and an antenna(31) which transmits the information in high frequency. The cooker includes a display unit(12) on which an operational state is displayed, a handling unit(13) by which a user can handles an operational state of the cooker, a memory(14) in which each kind of information necessary for the operation of the cooker is stored, an operational unit(15) which performs a heating operation of the cooker in a state that at least one heater is provided to the cooker, and a cooker controller(11) which controls entire operating states of the cooker. A terminal(2) includes a controller(21) which controls entire system of the terminal, a display unit(24) which displays the state or other information, and a communication unit(25) which enable the terminal to communicates with an external device. The communication unit exchanges data with a sever(5) by connecting to the sever through a network(4). |
