A fishing rope carrier is provided to store plural fishing ropes without making the fishing rope entangled and to make a length thereof adjusted to be carried conveniently. A fishing rope carrier includes a support rod assembly(10) and a fitting cap(20). The length of the support rod assembly is able to be adjusted. The fitting cap is installed on the front end of one side of the support rod assembly, and plural fitting slits(20a) are formed along the circumference of the fitting cap. A fishing needle attached to one end of the fishing rope is hung on the front end of the other side of the support rod assembly. A connection clip or the fishing rope itself is inserted into the fitting slit of the fitting cap. The support rod assembly includes a main pipe(12), an auxiliary pipe(14) and a cam member.
