PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support tool for constructing a honeycomb structure, and its construction method, capable of eliminating labor of form installing work performed in its front stage and form removing work performed as postprocessing, when constructing the honeycomb structure. SOLUTION: This support tool is arranged for fixing a position of an end part side surface of the honeycomb structure, when constructing the honeycomb structure of filling sediment and crushed stones in a honeycomb-shaped cubic reinforcing material of forming a plate-like or net-like high polymer material as the honeycomb structure. The support tool for constructing the honeycomb structure is composed of a rectangular plate contacting with a honeycomb structure end part side surface and a rectangular plate contacting with the ground surface, and is formed by substantially vertically joining one side of the rectangular plate contacting with the honeycomb structure end part side surface to the rectangular plate contacting with the ground surface.
