THERMAL DECOMPOSITION PROCESS AND THERMAL DECOMPOSITION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal decomposition process and a thermal decomposition system by which the amount of fossil fuel used is largely reduced and carbonization is stably made only with a small amount of auxiliary fuel in carbonizing sludge.

SOLUTION: The thermal decomposition system thermally decomposing and carbonizing sludge to be treated to generate thermal decomposition gas and carbonized products is provided with a thermal decomposition and carbonization furnace 40. Waste plastics together with the sludge is put into the thermal decomposition and carbonization furnace 40 through a hopper 32, which enables a large reduction in the amount of fossil fuel used for the decomposition and carbonization.
