PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a server device and an SSL server certificate issuing program, for saving system-operator's burden in configuring and operating a system when issuing an SSL server certificate. SOLUTION: A server device 100 equipped with a CPU 101 and a control program storage unit 102 has a server software setup unit 110 and an authentication station unit 120 configured with software. An authentication station structure device 111 generates a key pair by a key pair-CSR generating device 112, and determines a subject (object to be authenticated) of a root CA certificate 121 using a machine name of a server.
