PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a railroad crossing trouble informing device having a railroad crossing monitoring function which can be easily added to an existing railroad crossing trouble informing device and can inhibit an abnormal electric current to the entire railroad crossing trouble informing device when broken. SOLUTION: The railroad crossing trouble informing device is provided with an operating device 120 installed at a railroad crossing and having a push button 121 and an informing means 112 for informing a train approaching the railroad crossing when the push button 121 is pressed. The railroad crossing trouble informing device is further provided with an imaging means 131 for imaging an operator when the push button 121 is pressed, an image recording means 132 for recording the image obtained by the imaging means 131, and a signal route 140 for transmitting a trigger signal to make the image recording means 132 record the obtained image from the operating device 120. At least at one end of the signal wire 140, an electrical insulating means 133 for inhibiting the abnormal electric current flowing from the imaging means 131 or the image recording means 132 to the operating device 120 is provided.
