GAS-LIQUID SEPARATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas-liquid separator which can separate mixture containing inflammable gas and a liquid into a gas component and a liquid component and can safely discharge the separated liquid component to the atmosphere. SOLUTION: The gas-liquid separator includes: a gas-liquid separation vessel which introduce the mixture containing inflammable gas and the liquid therein, separates introduced mixture into the gas component and the liquid component and has a gas discharge port for discharging the gas component and a liquid discharge port for discharging the liquid component; a gas discharge valve for discharging the gas component through the gas discharge port; and a first liquid discharge valve for discharging the liquid component through the liquid discharge port. The gas-liquid separator further includes: a tank for housing an oxygenless gas; an airtight vessel having a liquid introduction port through which the liquid component discharged through the liquid discharge port is introduced, a gas introduction port through which the oxygenless gas supplied from the tank is introduced and a liquid discharge port for discharging the liquid component introduced through the liquid introduction port; and a second liquid discharge valve for discharging the liquid component in the airtight vessel through the liquid discharge port.
