UNDERSTEERING SUPPRESSION DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an understeering suppression device for accurately suppressing an understeering by preventing excessive braking force generation when detecting the understeering of a vehicle.

SOLUTION: This understeering suppression device is provided with: an electric power steering control unit (understeering detector) 1; a transmission control unit 2; a motor control unit 3; and a driving wheel lock inclination detection means 4. When an understeering is detected by the electric power steering control unit 1, at least either the first deceleration control for changing a transmission gear ratio to a low speed side by the transmission control unit 2 or a second deceleration control for reducing a motor output by the motor control unit 3 is performed. The transmission control unit 2 controls the transmission gear ratio based on the output of the driving wheel lock inclination detector 4 during the execution of the first deceleration control, and the motor control unit 3 controls the motor output based on the output of the driving wheel lock inclination detector 4 during the execution of the second deceleration control.
