<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a business form processor capable of improving the identifying performance of the business form format even if the image data excluding an overall business form in the business form processor for extracting a ruled line pattern from the image data of a business form having a ruled line, and for identifying a business form format based on the extracted ruled line pattern. <P>SOLUTION: A business form processor equipped with a generation part for generating characteristic information to be affected by the outer shape dimension of a business form is provided with: a protrusion decision part for deciding whether or not the image of a whole business form has been acquired from the business form image data; and an image complementary processing part for, when it is decided that the image of the whole business form has not been acquired, generating complementary image data by adding complementary image data of predetermined dimension to the business form image data, and for supplying the complementary image data to a generation part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
