PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage battery in which invasion of rain water is prevented. SOLUTION: This storage battery is mounted with a liquid plug 10 which is equipped with a top part 11 that becomes protruded above the battery container when attached to a liquid injection port, and the cylindrical main body part 21 communicated with the lower end of that top part 11. The top part 11 of the liquid plug 10 is equipped with the cylindrical container shaped lid part 12, and in the peripheral wall 12A of the lid part 12, an exhaust hole 17 communicated with inside of the main body part 21 is formed. In the upper face of the top part 11 of this liquid plug 10, two sector inclined faces 18 declining toward separating directions from the upper part of the exhaust hole 17, and sector draining inclined faces 19 declining from the center of the upper wall 12B toward the outer peripheral side are formed via a stage difference 20.
