PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform precise delay control, without increasing the frequency of measurement, even if the variations due to model differences, or the like, in delay time of a mechanical shutter are large. SOLUTION: The shutter delay control system comprises a zone filter having a plurality of filter-divided areas at mutually different degrees of light attenuation, divided in a direction perpendicular to a slide direction of a shutter means; an exposure value detection means for detecting the exposure value for each of a plurality of image divided areas, corresponding to the plurality of filter-divided areas of the zone filter; and a delay time calculation means for calculating the equivalent delay time from the first exposure value detected at first imaging, when exposure is finished by device shutter control of the imaging device, and the second exposure value detected at second imaging, when exposure is finished by closure of the shutter means. The degree of light attenuation of the zone filter is set so that the exposure value, in at least one of the image divided areas, lies within a standardized upper limit of the imaging device. The equivalent delay time is calculated in the image-divided area, where the exposure value is within the standardized upper limit of the imaging device. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
