<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a performance device and a program for attaining its control method, by which a user can perform exercise or dance in accordance with a music piece, even when music whose tempo is hard to understand is reproduced, when exercise or dance is performed. <P>SOLUTION: An acceleration value which is output from an acceleration detection circuit is read for each predetermined period, and the read acceleration value is accumulated in an acceleration history buffer. When a music piece data is selected and a user performs exercise or dance in accordance with the reproduced music piece, a detected acceleration value comes to have a cycle according to the tempo of the music piece (music tempo). By calculating a time interval between zero crossing points of the acceleration value on a center value of variation, which is accumulated in an acceleration history buffer, the cycle (exercise tempo) of the acceleration value is calculated. When difference of the exercise tempo and the music tempo is a predetermined value or more, guide sound is uttered, and when the difference is within the predetermined value, utterance of the guide sound is stopped. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
