<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a route determining device of a wavelength path that considers quality and prevents a set wavelength path from becoming unable to withstand use. <P>SOLUTION: The route determination device determines the route of a wavelength path according to topological information indicating each wavelength multiplex link in a network and optical nodes at both the ends, wavelength state information, indicating the usage state of a wavelength contained in each wavelength multiplex link, and quality determination information indicating the degree of deterioration in the quality of a passing light signal for each wavelength multiplex link and each optical node. Based on the topological information, the wavelength state information, and the quality determination information, the optical nodes at both the ends of a wavelength path to be set can be connected by the unused same wavelength, and the route of the wavelength path to be set is selected from a path, where the degree of deterioration in quality is less than the prescribed threshold. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
