<p>A combustion tube for burner and a burner in which heat can be obtained at the same level as when acetylene gas is used by using propane gas. A combustion tube for a tubular burner comprising a tubular burner body provided, at the tip thereof, with a nozzle for jetting flame, and a means for supplying fuel gas to the burner body is fixed removably to the periphery of the nozzle of the burner and has openings at the opposite ends of the combustion tube body. A plurality of through holes are formed in the circumferential surface of the combustion tube body remote from the opposite ends and they are formed at positions on the downstream side of the nozzle when the combustion tube is fixed to the periphery of the nozzle.</p>
