The unit has pre-mounted tested units, and multiple base modules with single or multi-row drilling spindle units which are adjustably and non-adjustably arranged. Each spindle unit is provided with a drive motor and a functional unit. A crankcase (1) and bearing housing (2) of tool spindles (3, 9) form a fixedly joined unit. A Spiral laid cable (5) is spirally shifted behind the crankcase. Guiding rods (7) form torque supports for the crankcase and the bearing housing, and hold upper and lower mounting plates on a distance. The drilling spindles are in a firm gear block.
