<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized and light-weight grain milling apparatus suitable for domestic use. <P>SOLUTION: The grain milling apparatus has a lower mill 8 having a lower-side grinding surface 8a which is convex and tapered and has first grooves V<SB>1</SB>in the direction of the outer periphery from the central part and rotation-driven and a fixed upper mill 6 having an upper grinding surface 6d which is concave and tapered and has second grooves V<SB>2</SB>in the direction of the outer periphery from the central part and a through hole 6c for dropping of grains along the central axis.
