PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide locking structure for a steering column device, which remarkably reduces probability of occurrence of half locking. SOLUTION: At least one of a fixing bracket 15 and a supporting bracket 17 has a tooth portion on the side of the bracket (tilt tooth portion 35) with a crest portion on the side of the bracket (tilt crest portion 35a) and a trough portion on the side of the bracket (tilt trough portion 35b) continuously formed. A movable member 19 has a tooth portion on a movable side (tilt locking tooth portion 47), meshed with the tooth portion on the side of the bracket, with a crest portion on the movable side (tilt locking crest portion 47a) and a trough portion on the movable side (tilt locking trough portion 47b) continuously formed.
