PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the degree of flexibility in the shape and the design of a swing arm without being influenced by the variation of a part for supporting an exhaust muffler on the side of the swing arm and a part for coupling a rear cushion unit to the side of the swing arm, in a compact vehicle where both ends of an axle of a rear wheel are journaled by the rear of a power unit and the swing arm fastened to the power unit, the exhaust muffler is arranged on the side of the swing arm of the rear wheel and the rear cushion unit is provided between a body frame and the swing arm. SOLUTION: A bracket 35 for a cushion coupled to a lower end of the rear cushion unit 24 and a bracket 36 for a muffler that supports the exhaust muffler 33 are formed separately from a swing arm 34 and are attached to the swing arm 34.
