PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor device capable of performing an efficient operation without increasing manufacturing cost and power consumption. SOLUTION: The semiconductor device comprises: first operation engines 11A to 11E for performing first operations in each cycle, and outputting first data indicative of a result of the first operation and a first valid signal in each cycle; second operation engines 11A to 11E for performing second operations in each cycle, and outputting second data indicative of a result of the second operation and a second valid signal in each cycle; and an inter-operation engine buffer 12 that is used for the exchange of the first data and the second data among the operation engines 11A to 11E, allows the writing of the first data or the second data therein when the first valid signal or the second valid signal indicates a first value, and inhibits the writing of the first data or the second data therein when the first valid signal or the second valid signal indicates a second value.
