PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an invention for solving the problems of what has to be done for using a toilet more sanitarily and comfortably and what has to be done for eliminating the concepts that a toilet has a nasty smell, is dark, is unclean and is unsanitary from a toilet used daily. SOLUTION: A toilet is divided into a using room A and a washing room B, and a toilet bowl 6 can be projected and retracted according to a detection by a sensor. Every time when the toilet is used, the toilet bowl is washed and dried in the washing room B before subsequent use. Because a mechanical washing process of washing the floor and the like of the using room with steam or water is employed, the toilet bowl 6 is not provided with a bidet, Washlet or the like 5, and a constitution as simple as possible is preferred.
