<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic spinning method by which trouble that a part of an extruded spinning dope is dropped or released from the exit tip of a nozzle as liquid drops can be solved to stably perform the spinning, and to provide an electrostatic spinning apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: This electrostatic spinning method for applying an electric field to a spinning dope extruded from a nozzle to draw the dope into a fiber is characterized by intermittently periodically extruding the spinning dope from the nozzle. The electrostatic spinning method, wherein the nozzle is provided with a dope-storing portion for storing the spinning dope and guiding the dope to the nozzle, and the surface of the spinning dope stored in the dope-storing portion is pressed with periodically changed press forces to extrude the spinning dope from the nozzle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
