PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the slidability degradation of a free piston even when the whole is deflected during travelling and a damper cylinder is also deflected at the same time. SOLUTION: A passage 9 consists of a clearance 10 formed between the outer periphery of a guide rod 4 and the inner periphery of the free piston 6, a lateral hole 11 formed in the guide rod 4 and communicated with the clearance, a hollow portion 12 formed in the guide rod 4 and communicated with the lateral hole 11, a flow path 13 formed in a gap 8 and communicated with the hollow portion 12, and a port 14 formed in the damper cylinder 3 to communicate the flow path 13 with an outside reservoir R3. On the inner periphery of the free piston 6, a pair of upper and lower seals is provided for shutting off the upper and lower parts of the clearance 10. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
