PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for preventing the occurrence of acid dew-point corrosion by maintaining the temperature of circulating boiler water of a converter boiler and an independent economizer to an acid dew-point or higher even when the supply of refining exhaust gas and converter exhaust gas is stopped by an irregular process fault. SOLUTION: When the supply of converter exhaust gas 1 is stopped, the supply of new boiler water to the independent economizer 3 is intercepted, and a part of circulating boiler water of the converter boiler 2 is circulated to the independent economizer 3. Further, a part of waste heat boiler steam 10 from a first steam blow-in line 15 and a part of factory use steam 13 from a second steam blow-in line 16 are blown into a converter boiler drum 4.
