PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recorder having a constitution, making a record on recording medium (chart) which attains reduction in production cost and weight saving of measuring instrument. SOLUTION: In this recorder 1 for making a record on recording medium, depending on measured input signal, gear of printer mechanism section 2 and printer driving axle 22 are directly mounted on both side faces of recorder case, and storage section 32 of chart frame 3 for storing the recording medium is furnished on front door side in the case, thereby chassis is not required, the case is made of 4 flat plates, jointing material with flange section and backboard to reduce production cost and enable weight saving.
