<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biaxially-oriented polyester film for reinforcing a solid polymer electrolyte membrane which has a sufficient reinforcing effect as a reinforcing material of the solid polymer electrolyte membrane in spite of being a thin film at an operation temperature of a polymer electrolyte fuel cell. <P>SOLUTION: This biaxially-oriented polyester film for reinforcing a solid polymer electrolyte membrane is composed of at least one layer including a layer containing polyethylene naphthalenedicarboxylate as a main constituent. In the biaxially-oriented polyester film, at least a one-side Young's modulus of the film is not smaller than 9,000 MPa, and the thickness of the film is 15-150 μm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
