PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake control device capable of preventing unintended intervention of HDC control. SOLUTION: This brake control device comprises slope judgment means for judging whether a vehicle is traveling on a slope road or a flat road, vehicle speed detection means for detecting a vehicle speed, and a control unit for executing constant-speed travel control for converging the vehicle speed to a constant value by increasing a liquid pressure of a wheel cylinder when the vehicle speed is higher than a target vehicle speed and decreasing the liquid pressure of the wheel cylinder when the vehicle speed is lower than the target vehicle speed while the vehicle is traveling on the slope. A control unit finishes the constant-vehicle travel control when it is judged that the slope traveling is shifted to the flat road traveling by the slope judgment means. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
