PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To finely seal open ends of a packaging bag without causing deviation, wrinkles, etc., at adhesive-sealed parts. SOLUTION: This sealing method for a packaging bag seals openings of the bag by heat seal after gusseting both side face parts 1c, 1c of the packaging bag, which are near the openings and are opposed to each other. In this sealing method, first members 3, 3 having portions 3a, 3a to be inserted are respectively disposed on the respective inner faces of both the side face parts 1c, 1c prior to the gusseting of the side face parts 1c, 1c. After supporting both the side face parts 1c, 1c with the first members 3, 3, second members 4, 4 insertable into the portions 3a, 3a are pushed into the portions 3a, 3a, respectively, thereby gusseting both the side face parts 1c, 1c. |
